In 2012, the existing Parish Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church burned down, rendering the facility decimated. Enteros Design was hired to work with the Church staff and congregation to design a new facility to serve as meeting space for group meetings, charity work, and recreational activities.

The St. Joseph Parish Hall is built with a pre-engineered metal building structure to achieve cost savings for the owner. Located in downtown Petersburg, the historic church is surrounded by new and old buildings of monumental, civic scale. Enteros Design worked to design an addition that would compliment the newer construction exhibited by the new Petersburg Transit Center and the new Petersburg Public Library—both located across the street from the existing church—while not competing with the Church’s historic character.
