Enteros Design has been working close to home with the Petersburg Family YMCA to update, renovate, and modernize their ageing facility. This project holds a special place in our hearts as the Petersburg YMCA works on a daily basis to improve the lives of our own community. Through their groundbreaking (and successful!) diabetes prevention and maintenance program, their outreach to our local schools and daycares, and their immersive involvement with improving Petersburg’s wellness score the Petersburg Family YMCA is working to make our city a healthier place.
The project involves adding on a second level to house a brand-spanking new fitness center. Expanded child watch facilities, additional group exercise rooms, meeting space, and a teaching kitchen are just part of what is going to breathe new life into the Petersburg Family YMCA. As a regular of the Y, I know for a fact it’s going to be the excitement and energy from the staff, members, and volunteers that is going to make the biggest impact on the community!
